For those of you that wish to follow in the footsteps of the famed 47 Commando, Royal Marines, taking their path through the beaches and countryside of Normandy, taking in the history of the 6th-8th of June 1944, this is for you.
Hosted by Captain Erb-Smith and C/Sgt Sartorel you will spend 5 days learning about the D-Day landings and visiting the famous sites of the area from Sword, Omaha and Gold Beaches to Pegasus Bridge and Port-En-Bessin. A hoofing trip if you can make it.
Some time off of school may be required if you wish to go, but previous participants would highly recommend it and as it's educational you should be able to get the time off.
See your detachment staff for further information, booking forms and price.
