You’ve Got the Part! Great! Now What?
an Acting Workshop with Reno Venturi
Saturday June 6th, 2015
Anchor Line, Portsmouth, NH
A full day of top-quality acting instruction in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire! This is a super opportunity to get NYC/LA instruction without having to drive to NYC or fly your carcass to LA! (Of course, you are free to come as far as you like to join us. :-) )
What else makes this workshop different? It’s about what you need to do after you get the part… It’s about creating and internalizing the character; it’s about what to do on set if you’re getting no direction, or too much; it’s about how to interact with your fellow actors if they’re not being generous with you, or if they’re distracting you by chewing the scenery.
In this acting workshop, Reno will cover a multitude of topics in acting, and will get you on your feet acting out scenes with personalized feedback and advice. And, of course, Reno will answer your questions about other matters pertaining to acting for Film, TV and Stage.
Reno Venturi's biography is truly impressive, and his work with actors has earned him many fine testimonials. In addition to teaching and coaching actors at The Actor’s Gym, Yale and UCLA, Reno is a casting director, film and tv director, and a working actor.‡
The student limit is 14, so everyone will have time for meaningful participation. Registration includes the all-day workshop, 10am to 4pm, as well as lunch, coffee, snacks and water!
