Yoga for the Blissful Woman supports women to rediscover their own innate wisdom of their bodies through asanas, meditations, pranayama and self-discovery for each stage of the menstrual cycle, through the ebb and flow of life.
It focuses on reclaiming a deep respect and acceptance for our feminine bodies, emotions, sexuality and cycle.
This workshop is a BRAND NEW Course, expanded from the last 2 years "Yoga and the Blissful Woman" 1 day workshop. This workshop is a cumulation of Atira Tan's journey through healing cervical cancer in 2006 through Hatha Yoga, meditation, ayurveda, and the expressive art therapies.

About Atira Tan...
A fervent devotee of the Wild Feminine, Atira has been practicing yoga for 17 years, and teaching since 2007. She is an Anusara Inspired Yoga Teacher (500 hrs YTT), a Tigress Yoga Instructor, Expressive Art Therapist (MA), Counsellor, Coach, Public speaker & author on feminine empowerment and leadership.
She has worked over a decade in community organisations and international development as a consultant, clinician and supervisor, as well as a educator in community settings and lecturer at the Phoenix Institute of Victoria.
The Executive Director and Founder of The Art2Healing Project, Atira has initiated international women’s health, art therapy and yoga programs for sex trafficked survivors internationally for the past 10 years. She teaches yoga classes & workshops in Melbourne, and assists women and children in groups & individually in private practice and in community settings as an art therapist and counselling psychotherapist.
From going into the depths of healing cervical cancer at the age of 26 through yoga, meditation and other healing techniques, Atira went on to pass on the knowledge and wisdom from her experience of healing cancer to sex trafficked women and adolescent girls in shelters internationally in Asia.
A world traveler and seeker of truth, her women's health programs has changed the lives of many women and children who have experienced sexual abuse and exploitation, and her programs ripples out to inform and educate the women and girls in the rural communities, brothels and slums of Nepal & India. Atira is deeply curious about the cross - cultural themes on feminine sexuality and empowerment, hailing from Asia herself.
She is deeply passionate about passing on this wisdom and knowledge to all women, so that all women will be able to live in freedom, love and power on this beautiful planet.
