I am so excited to be bringing you an unmissable yoga retreat in a mini paradise, which has been voted one of the Guardians top 10 yoga retreats. This retreat is a time for YOU, a time to escape, relax and unwind. Lose yourself in two blissful daily yoga practices in the light filled yoga barn, nurture yourself with good food and take lots of time out for yourself. Swim in the clear pool, sun yourself on the beautiful terrace, walk for miles in the countryside without seeing a soul or indulge in an afternoon nap – simply follow your bliss.
The Yoga will be a mix of vinyasa flow in the morning to awaken your energy and yin yoga in the evening to set you up for a restful night’s sleep. There will be meditation each morning before practice and in the afternoons we will delve in the beautiful world of the philosophy, art and science of yoga. All of our classes will take place in the beautiful light filled yoga barn.
Our home for the week is the stunning Les Passeroses, a tastefully renovated stone farmhouse set amongst rolling fields of sunflowers and corn in South West France. Described as “the best yoga centre in France” and also one of the “top ten yoga holiday centres in the world” Les Passeroses is truly a mini paradise
Accommodation is in en-suite boutique style accommodations, which retain many original features with oak floors, exposed beams, stone fireplaces and window sinks in some rooms. All boutique style bedrooms in the main house are simply yet stylishly furnished with touches of luxury provided by high thread-count bedding and super-soft towels. There are also two luxury garden lodges set in the gardens. These are solid wooden cabins with lovely en-suite bathroom and king sized bed (DOUBLE bed only) available for single use or a couple.
The food at Les Passenroses is absolutely legendary! A ‘never boring’ vegetarian menu home cooked using seasonal produce grown in their own kitchen, herb gardens and orchard, along with market bought organic goods when and if available. Three delicious meals a day will be provided, except for one evening where we give Alex and Adrian a break by popping into the local town to sample local life and enjoy a meal out together. There will be fruit and drinks available through the day and chai and tiffin served daily at 3.30pm.

Wednesday is a little different as we leave the retreat centre to give Alex and Adrian a little break and also the chance to clean the rooms for us. On this day we will just do the one practice 8.30-10am. After practice we will have breakfast, lunch at the usual time and then go into a local village for the afternoon and enjoy an evening meal there together. The cost for this is 15 euros per person for the transfer there plus the cost of your own evening meal.
Spend your days doing as little or as much as you like! Explore the local countryside on foot or on a bike or just lay by the pool and soak in the sunshine while reading a book. There are a few little local villages within cycling distance and on one day we head into a local town for the afternoon and evening to soak in the local culture (15 euros per person return for the transfer).
Treat yourself to a delicious massage with our in house massage therapist Jan in her beautiful custom built massage hut nestled in the garden. Jan offers massage, reflexology and also sells the most beautiful aromatherapy products. If you want to deepen your practice you can also book in a private session with Kirsty to delve a little deeper into any areas you want to work on during the week.

Getting here is easy from the UK and the rest of Europe by taking a Eurostar/train/flight to Paris and then a train to Angouleme. The Eurostar can be booked all the way through from the UK is such an easy, hassle free way to travel and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. We can arrange transfers from Angouleme station to Les Passeroses for 15 euros per person return. You can also fly to Bordeaux, but the transfer to Les Passeroses takes longer and is more expensive.
Getting around There are four bikes you can borrow to head to local villages or plenty of beautiful surrounding countryside to explore on foot.
