The Tie Dye Dash is a fun run filled with vibrant colors and you as the canvas! The race is a 5K color run that begins and ends in Burbank Park, where victory is in doing your personal best. This race is not about being the fastest or being in the best shape; it is about encouraging healthy lifestyles. You can walk, jog, run or hop on one foot as long as you get out there and give it your all. Be creative, healthy and support a great cause. All proceeds support the Y’s Bright Futures: Summer Literacy Program.

You are the human canvas! Dressed in a provided YMCA white T-shirt and sunglasses, you will pass through 5 splash zones where colored cornstarch powder will be tossed at you. By the end of the 3.1 miles (5K), you will be colored in a tie dyed array of creativity.
The colored powder is 100% SAFE for people and the environment and is non-toxic.
