The goal, as in previous years, is to present the rich local gastronomy and their establishments, through an indigenous product, Bluefin Tuna Almadraba.
The trap is an art of ancient and sustainable fisheries that "cove" off the coast of Conil. "The trap" is like a labyrinth of nets, near the coast, where the tuna, which will enter into the Mediterranean.
The wild bluefin tuna, which is what fishing in Conil, is a high quality product, culinary delicacy , much appreciated nationally and internationally excellent source of protein of high biological value, rich in vitamins A, B and D, and minerals. With the advantage that is low in saturated fat, and has a high content of Omega 3 (anti-cholesterol). It is therefore an excellent reference that allows us to fulfill our objective of promoting local gastronomy.
This year the 19th edition of the route, in which a total of 35 restaurants and bars, with diverse and delicious dishes, traditional cuisine and innovative cuisine involved is called.
The participants have specific letter with information about the Route and some dishes contained therein are displayed in a pop-up with the location of establishments. The route is thus aimed at promoting the establishment and not the product itself, tuna, but uses its properties to achieve quality and show the excellence of the cuisine of Conil.
