Help us award a $500 scholarship to a Midway High School art student by voting Saturday on your favorite painting, drawing or sculpture. See the stars of Animal Planet’s Rattlesnake Republic perform daring stunts with live snakes, and share important safety tips on what-to-do if you encounter a rattler in the wild. Challenge your friends and family to a basketball contest in the Woodway Family Center, competing for trophies. Affordable admission, with pre-sale tickets $5 for adults, available at the Woodway City Hall and Public Safety Department. Adult tickets will be $6 at the gate. Kids 4-12 yrs only $3, and ages 3 and younger free. Proceeds to benefit the McLennan 100 Club, supporting the family of fallen police officers.
