Dear Friends & Family,
As 2015 started I got a word to kick off the year and just came to me one afternoon. That word was PLANS. I did not know what the word plans meant at that time, but God is still showing me what looks like this year. I have always wanted to go on a mission trip internationally and connect with others in different parts of the world. Well, a few weeks later the doors opened for me to take a faith step and plans unraveled for me to go to Nicaragua this spring. Most of you know I love connecting and meeting people from all walks of life and meeting them where they are. This trip to Nicaragua will be a great opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and meet the people of Nicaragua to make connections and hopefully build long lasting relationships.
The purpose of the mission trip is work alongside the local church, Christ for the City International, to serve the young adults of Nicaragua. We will be using our resources, skills, passions, and heart for the Lord to pour out encouragement, hope and love. We will be hosting a conference for the young adults as well as serving in the community and church in any capacity God has in store for us.
Our team consists of fourteen young adults and we will be spending a week from May 30 through June 6th in Nicaragua. I ask for prayers for our team as we prepare spiritually, mentally, relationally, and financially for this trip. To make this all happen a lot of time, prayer, and funds are necessary. With travel, food and lodging, I need $1,900 for the trip. I’m hoping that after reading this letter you will take time to pray and seek God’s guidance in supporting me financially in this endeavor. If you feel led, a donation of any amount is GREATLY appreciated, and directly impacts the lives of the Nicaraguans we will be serving.
If you are able, please go to http://www.seacoast.org/missions/missions-nicaragua-may2015 and click "support this trip", "pay as guest" and then select my name from the drop down menu.

When thinking about this trip and what it can do and prayerfully will do is provide hope to others. A verse that resonated with me for this trip “…I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)
Cannot wait to share about this experience when I get back in June!
