 Waterloo Wellington Animal Save
Please come and bear witness to the suffering of our gentle earthling companions - the pigs being sent to slaughter at Conestoga Meat Packers. We'll meet in the evening and then have a get-together after for a potluck supper. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with one another and to include new people that are interested into our community. Mr. p-Blizzard the Rooster of the Rookery will be present of course - to share his wisdom and clucks. If you have any questions or if you are nervous about attending a vigil and would like to talk to someone about your fears or concerns please use the message feature to contact us. Please share this event and bring family and friends with you. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to bring your furry friend - we can accomodate.Just let us know if they have a strong prey-drive. We have 3 cats and a rooster here. Also - if you would like to come to the potluck supper only -- please come anyway - we could use volunteers to help get the food warmed up etc :) Those who support the vigils play an important part too. Musical instruments for some impromptu music-making are welcome :) Time: Vigil: 6pm-7pm Post-vigil gathering: 7:30 pm- late Location: Conestoga Meat Packers slaughterhouse - 313 Menno St. Woolwich. Please park on Lonsdale Road about 20 meters down from the slaughterhouse. Post-vigil gathering will be at The Rookery
