Downtown Art Place and the Smithsonian are hosting a regional series of events and displays this spring titled, The Way We Worked. It’s a cultural celebration of activities on the Range.
The City of Wakefield is planning a Lumberjack Festival May 16th at Sunday Lake as part of the events. I believe this is the same day as the city-wide garage sale, and it is Armed Forces Day too. We are planning competition, music, food and a bonfire in Eddy Park. During the day we thought it might be nice to add to the garage sales to have a craft fair. If we have participants, I’ll be asking to close one block of downtown. (Should the weather be horrible, we may use the gymnasium in the Wakefield Municipal Building.)
Please call or email with questions.
