Vermillion Road has been generating a buzz around the Denver music scene this past year. This young rock band’s original music draws inspiration from the hard rock sound they love; their unforgettable riffs and pounding rhythms are balanced with expressive lyrics, memorable melodies and interesting dynamics giving their songs a refreshing modern sound. Vermillion Road’s music is not only exciting to listen to but fun to watch with their explosive live performances.
Resonance was founded in June of 2011 out of Denver, Colorado. As a hard rock band, it was lead singer Danny Pappas' goal to translate the powerful emotions of everyday life into lyrics, melodies, and songs that people could relate to. What started as a vision and a few posts on craigslist would quickly form the original lineup of the group.
Constantly compared to heavy-hitters such as Chevelle, Tool, 10 Years, and Staind, Resonance has a unique take on the Hard Rock genre that is catching attention around the city. With their first gig being played at Summit Music Hall, the band set their sights high on the horizon. This dedication to their music has resulted in several demos, radio airplay (106.7 FM KBPI, 94.3 KILO), interviews around town, and even opening for national acts Trapt, Saving Abel, Jackyl, Smile Empty Soul, and 3 Pill Morning. Their current five-man lineup has the bar set high.
Keep your eyes and ears open for Resonance! You won’t want to miss what comes next!
Racing on the Sun:
"Racing On The Sun out of Denver Colorado generates an upace tempo of energy while exhibiting a certain melodic smoothness that allows the music easy entrance to wrap around the inside of your mind. Superb vocals combined with the traditional heavy breaks often signatured in the Alternative genre, this band is truly one of the Citystreets favorites for great things in 2014 and beyond" -Lamont Anderson of citystreetsme.com
Emerging from Denver, Colorado, a riveting story unfolds as a quartet journeys through their musical aspirations, forming the band Blue Mesa. Hailing from the four corners of the country, all four members moved to Denver within months of one another; fate proving itself in a year of change. Upon their first meet, an instantaneous bond formed, their chemistry taking flight, producing a well-formulated blueprint for the rock and roll they would soon create. With tasty melodies and intimately honest lyrics, their uniquely diverse sound became unable to harness. Thus, circa 2012, Blue Mesa was born.
