Are you going to be in the Vermilion area on Saturday June 6th? If so, why not help count birds for the Vermilion River Naturalist Society's annual spring bird count!
Some of the species you'll likely see include: Rose-brested Grosbeaks, Turkey Vultures, Alder Flycatchers, Mountain Bluebirds, Black-crowned Night Herons, Veerys, and many more!
If you'd like to join us, please bring water, lunch, binoculars (if you have them, if not I will have some extra pairs), I will also be bring my spotting scope which is very useful for looking at birds on the river.
If you would like a little more information on the count, please don't hesitate to contact Charlotte on Facebook or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or Chris at Chris.Olsen@lakelandcollege.ca
