Associate Conductor Robert Istad makes his debut conducting both Pacific Chorale and Pacific Symphony in Herbert Howells' ethereal, uplifting "Hymnus Paradisi," one of the 20th century's most beautiful depictions of Paradise. Artistic Director John Alexander returns to the podium to conduct Verdi's passionate, dramatic, seldom-heard "Te Deum" and Poulenc's exuberant "Gloria" in the grand finale to Pacific Chorale's 2014-2015 season.
