TWO GENIUS HUSBANDS (2GH) is a play by Carina Finn. A queer & experimental farce, 2GH investigates the possibility of genius and the simultaneous impossibility of geniuses. In 2GH, Q & Q, a pair of genius husbands, are rewriting Aeschylus’ lost tragedy, Callisto. A queer take on Beckettian theater and Greek tragedy, this is the play that dares to ask: what is the difference between desire and domesticity? What is the difference between a bear and the mother of a bear?
TWO GENIUS HUSBANDS premieres at Dixon Place on Friday, June 5th at 10pm, directed by Kate Attwell and produced by Stephanie Berger. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, and $10 for students and seniors with ID. More details to come!
