Purveyors of fuzzed out garage rock meets indie-rock. It sounds like what might happen if Ty Segall went on tour with The Elwins and PUP and they formed a band out of the craziness. In other words it sounds really really good and you want to come out early.
Drunk Lips: https://www.facebook.com/drunklips?fref=ts at 10:40:
On facebook Drunk Lips list their genre as Rock/Blood/Beer/Glitter and if you can wrap your ahead around that you are well on the way to understanding what you get from a Drunk Lips show. One of the wildest and most fun bands on the rise in Toronto. Get into it!
Dear Blackwolf: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dear-Blackwolf/730875293626985?fref=ts at 11:30:
Night closes with the first show in ages from arguably Toronto's best current blues band Dear Blackwolf. Doing it the barebones drums and guitar way the guys are paying homage to the tradition of blues while combining it with the modern blues-rock sound in the best way possible.
