Please join us for the first annual Cantoria/NEMO Singers Reunion! This is a family event, so bring your peoples! We will gather at Thousand Hills State Park (at the point) at 11:00 am to enjoy some food and fellowship.
Following this, there will be a sing-along/rehearsal in the new(er) music building (Ophelia Parrish). The time is to be determined. :) Others are also interested in taking a tour of Baldwin Hall. Mark Jennings, the current Cantoria conductor, has been willing to come for the festivities and help make rehearsal arrangements. Dr. R. Paul Crabb plans to attend and direct some pieces during the informal rehearsal!
Since it may be hard to guess how many will attend this event, please bring your own meat (BYOM?) and a side dish /dessert to share. We will have the grill going (it's BIG, if I remember correctly), and a master griller on hand! Also provide your own drinks. We will supply plates, napkins, and utensils. Please try and RSVP by MAY 20th so we may plan to the best of our abilities!
For the rehearsal, if there are any pieces you would like to sing, start a thread here! Peggy and I will be pulling music beforehand and would love to know of your old favorites.
Please spread the word! Share the event on your personal page. Tag your friends! We would like to reach as many people as possible. If there are former Cantorians/NEMO Singers who you know are not of Facebook, let me know and we will try to contact them.
We look forward to seeing many of you for this long-awaited reunion. If you have suggestions, ideas, comments, or questions, this is the place to voice them!
