"Firs' thing I ever heard was my own heartbeat. Next thing I heard was yours."
Named one of the best Canadian plays of the decade by The National Post & 2005′s best play by NOW Magazine.
Trout Stanley follows the DuCharme sisters, Grace and Sugar, orphaned twins living in the underbrush in British Colombia, fending for themselves after a lifetime of loss. The tectonic plates that form their world are forever shifted when a mysterious run-away named Trout shows up at their doorstep. Theirs is a story of family, grief, freaks, and love, told through the mythology the sisters have created to survive in a world filled (literally) with garbage.
