New Jersey's original overly restrictive 2010 Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act has been rendered all but useless. Subsequent unwarranted additions of overly burdensome regulations and a total lack of transparency during the regulatory decision making process over the past five years has led to predictable consequences. While this is well known by those who are directly affected by added barriers to access of their medicine, the ramifications for whole families of those who continue to needlessly suffer are ongoing and far reaching and will NOT be allowed to transpire out of public view. To that effect we will gather outside the Statehouse in Trenton every Thursday to offer a real world view of the consequences of the over regulation of our medical cannabis law. We did so for the 20 Thursdays prior to Thanksgiving last year and we will do so from April 2 until November 19 this year. Same place, same time, same day of the week...you know where we will be. Come add your voice in Trenton at least one time this year.
