This month we have a special event combining the Creative Technologists Community Monthly Meetup with the opening of a new interactive artwork at Digital Art Live. Jean Dubois is an internationally recognised Digital Artist from Montréal. He is visiting Auckland to present his interactive art work Tourmente at Digital Art Live and will also be running a masterclass at Colab. Tourmente allows passersby to transform the facial reactions of the people on the screen by blowing on the microphone of their mobile phone. Depending on the intensity of exhaled breath, the displayed faces will be either caressed by a gentle breeze or shocked by a violent gust of wind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AGENDA • 5.30pm – Opening of Tourmente - DJ, nibbles &drinks • 7:00pm – Jean Dubois artist talk + Q&A • 7.30pm – Networking • 8:00pm – Ends ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JEAN DUBOIS Jean lives and works in Montréal (Canada).
