THE HALLELUJAH TRAILS
Proving themselves a sterling, class live act and rocking packed houses with their upbeat, West-Coast harmonies and tripped-out, bitter-sweet Post-Country lyrics. Expect The Hallelujah Trails to raise the roof, smash the barn doors wide-open and paint ‘em red on the way out.
Their just-released second album 'Guts' marries their trademark lush vocals with a more roots-rocking electric bluegrass/soul feel:
2013's eponymous debut LP was warmly received by critics and went on to receive worldwide radio play, most recently airing on Bob Harris's BBC radio 2 Sunday show who described the track 'Nothing Any Good' thus: "Two voices, one acoustic guitar and a little bit of magic..."
Plus support from..
Fresh from well received gigs at the Betsey Trotwood and Come Down and Meet The Folks, the Tupelo Uncles take the music of alt country legends Uncle Tupelo and add a bluegrass/old time feel. The five man outfit features the accomplished fiddle of Gary Bridgwood, slide guitar of Garry "slide guy" Smith, bouzouki and mandolin of Lyle Zimmerman, vocals and acoustic guitar of Jason Collins and double bass of Clarky.
