 The Chemic Tavern
 9 Johnston Street - LS6 2NG - Leeds - United Kingdom
 Tiny POP presents
Friday 22nd May from 8pm. 3 Quid in The Chemic Tavern This gig is also a fundraiser for The Chemic, so the door money will go to help keep this gem of a pub up and running. Also any other donations will be appreciated. Invisible Cities https://www.facebook.com/invisiblecitiesband?fref=ts https://soundcloud.com/invisiblecities "Invisible Cities seek to marry the structural complexity of Battles with the emotional resonance achieved by instrumental rock trailblazers Do Make Say Think and Dirty Three. Their songs have a tendency to feel fragmented - as if the four members were straining against one another in search of moments of individual brilliance - but when these efforts resolve into a cohesive whole the results are stunning." - Vibrations Magazine Green Pop in a Red Rum This will be the second Pop Up Band gig in May! Which will consist of 1 part Helicopter Quartet and 1 part Green Clock in a Red Room. This will be a tribute to Rachael's past band Green Clock in a Red Room, which existed back in 2003/4. It was quite brief and they only did one gig and played one song (that was a 20 minute guitar and drums noise version of the Highland Fling washing over the Beatles chant of 'Yeah, Yeah, Yeah'. Maybe this will be re-created with a different band chanting 'No,No'No'... Michael Capstick - Guitar/Noise Rachael Rix-Moore - Drums/Vocals/Noise The Roman Empire http://www.theromanempire.info/ Not content with over 1000 years of invasion and domination The Roman Empire reformed in 2002 to win the hearts and minds of the good people of the world with acoustic guitars and songs of truth, sweetness, death and disaster. Chrissie Caulfield http://www.chrissieviolin.info/ "One of the most awesome pieces I've ever heard on violin" - Stuart Russell on The Quahog Stalke Come along, stamp one foot and chant... Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...
