We are excited to announce an evening of readings and performances at Outpost Gallery, Norwich on Saturday 23 May, to coincide with Patrick Goddard's exhibition 'Gone to Croatan'.
Beginning at 6.30pm, the event will feature a reading by NED BEAUMAN, a performance by PATRICK GODDARD, a reading by writer PATRICK LANGLEY and more to be announced.
NED BEAUMAN's debut novel Boxer, Beetle won the Writers’ Guild Award for Best Fiction Book and the Goldberg Prize for Outstanding Debut Fiction; his second, The Teleportation Accident, was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. He has been chosen by the Culture Show as one of the twelve best new British novelists and by Granta as one of the 20 best British novelists under 40. His work has been translated into more than ten languages.
PATRICK GODDARD is an artist and writer whose recent works have taken the form of videos, books, performances and sculpture; all with an emphasis on poetry, observational anecdotes or research-led articles. His exhibition at Outpost gallery features the film 'Gone to Croatan', filmed during the artist's residency at the Wysing Arts Centre in 2014.
PATRICK LANGLEY is a writer and artist based in London. His writing has appeared in The White Review, frieze, Times Literary Supplement, the Lisbon Triennale, ArtReview and elsewhere. He has shown work at the South London Gallery, ICA and elsewhere. He co-runs CAR, an arts podcast.
