Have you been suffering from racial, gender/non-binary, bullying, trauma, hate crimes, oppression, cultural approriation, and discrimination of any kind? If you can answer yes to any of these then this QTPOC Support Group is a safe/closed space for you. In this space you will have the privellege to make new friends, find healing, and be encouraged by other queer folks of color dealing with similiar issues. This space will be all about family, comming together, and all things will be kept confidential. Each gathering we will have different discussion topics, open time to share, and we will have different activities. This space will also be sober so no use of non-sober substances will be used. Also I will ask folks to limit use if chemical substances out of respect for those with chemical sensitvity.
Acessibility: My apartment is located on the second level and their is one flight of stairs with no elevator. The apartment isn't scent free, but will be made as scent free as possible. This event will be completely sober so please don't bring any non-sober substances.
Non-Drivers: From downtown Seattle catch the lightrail southbound to Tukwila Station. Once there take the Rapid Ride A Line to 208th St. Once off the bus walk across the street towards the Napa Valley Auto Parts and on the left hand side of the street you will see Willow Lake Apartments. My apartments are the 2nd entrance on the left in building X-9.
Drivers: From Seattle headed Southbound take I-5 South until you get to the 200th St exit. Keep straight off the freeway exit until you get to International Blvd. Make a left onto International Blvd and keep straight until 208th St. At 208th St turn left and you will see The Willow Lake Apartments on the left side (they are the 1st apartments you'll see). Turn left again into the 2nd entrance on the left because this is where building X is located. My unit is X-9, but you will need to find parking in front on the street.
