We are proud to announce the coming together of four of Oxford's best music producers...
Death of Hi Fi - are a production duo who collaborate freely to bring a new approach and askance view on a well worn, trodden and beaten down path.
DOHF have released their debut album; Anthropocene. Available on iTunes and from www.deathofhifi.co.uk
Half Decent - This is not your average Rapper. This is not your average Lyricist. This not your average Producer...
This is HALF DECENT: an Oxford-based rapper and producer already turning heads in the UK and beyond with music he describes as ‘a mixture of personal reflection and innovative sound’ motivated by his experiences, both what he sees and hears in his own life and the lives of those around him too.
Tiger Mendoza - Tiger Mendoza has been a pseudonym for different types of electronic music created by Ian De Quadros for a while, but after a couple of other projects had run their course, he decided it was time to take Tiger Mendoza up a notch. Ian began to work on some songs with Helena, who he’d heard singing at a friend’s party, and soon realised the noise they were making was starting to sound pretty good.
Kid Kin - the solo instrumental project of Oxford-based producer Peter Lloyd, provides a creative mixture between traditional post-rock and electronic synth-pop. His debut album, released in 2013, quickly gained positive press and airplay on BBC 6Music and BBC Oxford, with the latter selecting him to play their annual showcase in conjunction with Oxford Contemporary Music. A string of shows followed, including slots at the annual Oxford Punt showcase ("easily the loudest set of the night" - Nightshift), Threshold Festival (Liverpool), Audioscope with Public Service Broadcasting, and a support slot for Californian loop-masters El Ten Eleven, showcasing Kid Kin's impressive one-man show featuring live guitar, sampling and looping techniques.
