The Lawless is a band of ne'er-do-wells that coagulates yearly to play an annual fundraiser for Fatboys Charity: a local charity that supports children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. The Lawless and Fatboys launched in memory of Mike 'Fatboy' Lawless, who died from cancer in 1999, aged 31. To find out more about Fatboys, please visit www.fatboyscharity.co.uk
We're chuffed to play at the free Music and Family Fun Day at the Swiss Chalet Swindon, on Sunday 24 May, in aid of Prospect Hospice - Official Page. This wonderful organisation provided exceptional care to Peter Tilling - father of two members of The Lawless - late last year.
So bring yourself, your family and friends down to the Swiss Chalet in Gorse Hill for a day packed with live music and entertainment. It all kicks off from 12 noon on Sunday 24th May, and The Lawless will be on stage at 8pm. There will also be an auction, raffle, entertainment for the kids and a chance to win many more prizes. With no work the next day, it's a brilliant excuse to eat, drink and be merry.
If you can't be there on the day or would prefer to donate to Prospect Hospice online, please visit https://www.justgiving.com/musicandfamilyfunday
The Lawless is Steve Tilling, Mike Rees, Nick Beere, Angie Pangie and Steve's-much more-handsome-and-charismatic-brother on guitar.
