Speakers from all over the Taranaki region are coming together to hold a deputation to the New Plymouth District Council surrounding the issue of youth representation.
Recently the New Plymouth District Council put youth representation on hold, and since then there has been voices from in the Taranaki community to bring it back.
Speakers include Former Youth Working Party members Michael McLeod, Janelle Jones and Michael Riley - New Plymouth with a statement from Bradley Clarke.
Included on the speaking list supporting the group is Stratford District Youth Council's Chairman Chris James, New WAVES volunteer Michelle Williams and Young Labour New Plymouth Chairman Jordan McCall.
Deputations will begin from 4.30pm on 19 May. This is free to attend and any member of the public can attend without an invitation.
