The Crescent Theatre Company presents:
Music by Jason Robert Brown, Book by Alfred Uhry
Saturday 23rd to Saturday 30th May 2015 in the Studio at 7.45pm | Matinees: Sunday 24 & Saturday 30 at 2.45pm
For the first time the Crescent Theatre presents a full blown musical in the Ron Barber Studio and none better than “Parade”.
A huge success when performed in the intimate surroundings of London’s Donmar Theatre, it tells of the trial of Leo Frank accused and condemned to death for the murder of 13 year old Mary Phagan, Was it a fair trial? Did the witnesses lie? Were they manipulated by politicians and the media? Did it matter? After all he was a Jewish Yankee that no one liked very much. Filled with fantastic music, a bit Sondheim, a bit Kander and Ebb, but wholeheartedly Jason Robert Brown with a book by the writer of “Driving Miss Daisy.” How can it fail?
Tickets: £11 | £10 Concessions | Sunday Matinee only £6
