A semi-serious Heroic game by Rian Socia.
2 Teams of 5, levels 2-4, max levels 15 on each
Lore: The recent assassination of the Adamant King has left the Dwarven nation in tumult. It's begun to make things difficult in the town of Kalas' Crossing, where human and dwarven brewers often collaborate and compete with various alcoholic recipes. Two rival breweries are about to make things interesting in the town.
Heroic Fate in effect
Modified PC Fairness in Effect: Players may harm each other, but may not cause any permanent damage, such as death, loss of life points, or loss/theft of items. Any combat will be to unconsciousness only, and PCs cannot be reduced below 1 HP by other PCs by any means.
Great Weapons- 2 handed weapons gain a bonus to damage based on level: 1-3 - +1, 4-6 - +2, 7-9 - +3, 10 - +4
Bastard Weapons - Any maximum length Short Sword may be used as a two-handed weapon for a small damage bonus: 1-5 - +1, 6-10 - +2
Holy/Unholy Damage- Certain effects may cause Holy or Unholy damage. Damage type must be called as normal, and may have effects on certain beings. The effects are as follows:
-Knight Relic/Blessed Weapons: Holy for Good, Unholy for Evil aligned knights. Neutral may choose either at the beginning of Game Day, but may not change it
-Sanctify - Based on the Cleric's alignment: Holy for Good, Unholy for Evil aligned clerics. Neutral may choose either at the beginning of Game Day, but may not change it
-Celtic Fist: Holy for Good, Unholy for Evil aligned druids. Neutral may choose either at the beginning of Game Day, but may not change it
-Certain items may also do Holy/Unholy damage by Game Design
Monk Weapons- Monks may wield a pair of minimum length short sword with no hand guards with either a purple covering or purple flags. These are considered natural weapons and cannot be disarmed.
