How often do we get to sit down face to face with our politically elected officials and hear them talk from the heart? When do we hear about what actually happens behind closed doors in government? How does living a political life affect the personal life? What is the future of politics and democracy in general? These and other questions (many of them yours) will be asked and answered in an evening of sharing and discussion on Friday, May 29th at the Alton Mill, as part of Culture Cafe's mandate to explore and celebrate all things cultural.
We have a great lineup of distinguished politicians, former and current (see the poster), as well as a dollop of political activism with special guest Liz Armstrong (just to balance all that mainstream energy!). Talks and then a panel discussion moderated by the inimitable Andrew Welch, Caledon's Town Crier and everyman. Only $5 by donation, this is an event that everyone should try to get to.
