Join Anne Hastings from the Washington Township Environmental Commission as we learn the art of cloth wrapping.
Originating from Japanese culture, Furoshiki is an environmentally friendly technique that can be used for wrapping gifts, grocery shopping, and even worn as clothing.
All supplies will be provided but if you have a favorite poly blend fabric, feel free to hem it into a square between 27" and 30". If the edges are already finished, no hemming is needed.
No experience required. All materials provided.
Free and open to the public.
Space is limited and PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED by phone at 845-2611, email at woodpublib at gmail dot com or in person at Woodbury Public Library, NJ.
