Join us for the 3rd Annual Exuberant, Elegant & Alive Old Louisville Homes Tour, where the homes of this extraordinary neighborhood come to life! Celebrate the architectural exuberance of our favorite neighborhood – Old Louisville – while capturing the passion and culture of the people who live there. Visitors will get the opportunity to experience the elegance and grandeur of the Victorian era as they tour inside a variety of beautiful Old Louisville homes including the Conrad-Caldwell House.
See for yourself why these Old Louisville homes represent the fabric of our city’s most vibrant and historic neighborhood.
During tour hours, stop by the Conrad-Caldwell House for a chance to meet David Domine author of Old Louisville Exuberant, Elegant and Alive and get your very own copy of the book that started it all! We will also have refreshments and baked goods for purchase in Haskins Hall.
In the spirit of our “walking” tour on May 23rd we have partnered with WaterStep and will have a collection point for shoes set-up at our ticket booth. WaterStep takes these shoes sells them to an exporter, and the revenue generated supports their life saving water projects that bring safe drinking water to children and families in need all over the world. Shoes of all types, sizes, and conditions are accepted. Bring a pair of shoes to donate and receive a free water bottle!
Back again this year we welcome representatives from the Kentucky Wheelmen Association! These folks will be meeting and greeting the public and riding around St. James Court on their incredible historic High Wheel Riders!
