Open to Girl Scouts in grades K–5
Far more than offering a beautifully set table and dainty fare, the ceremony of tea provides an ideal setting for friendships and relationships of any age to be cultivated. Herkimer Home Historic State Historic Site Staff will provide instruction about the etiquette of afternoon tea. This includes taking your seat, the nuances of napkin etiquette, how to hold a knife and fork ( american and continental styles), how to eat a scone with jam and cream, as well as pouring and drinking tea. A fun patch is included in the program fee.
Adults within ratio required. Troops must provide a first aider.
Participant Fee: $7 per girl
Minimum # of participants: 8 girls; 2 adults
Maximum # of participants: 20 girls; 5 adults
