A day of MTB riding skills and tips with Sydney MTB's own coaches.
Skills include basic bike handling such as braking and cornering as well as more advanced concepts such as obstacle traversal and followed by a ride on the nearby tracks.
A BBQ lunch is provided as well as toilet and shower facilities.

1:00 pm – 1:30 pm Welcome and course intro and lunch
1:30 pm – 2:00 pm Basics and Concepts theory – rider position, braking, cornering and line selection
2:00 pm – 2:15 pm Bike check – how to set up and check your bike
2:15 pm – 2:30 pm Rider position, braking and turning demo
2:30 pm – 3:00 pm Ride test – evaluate participant skill level and warm up
3:00 pm – 3:15 pm Hill braking and lines demo – how to distribute weight and brake bias and how to choose the best line
3:15 pm – 3:45 pm Practical cornering and braking - starting and stopping, how to take a corner
3:00 pm to 3:15 pm
Practical hills – braking and weight distribution on decent
3:15 pm to 4:45 pm
Putting it all together – ride on nearby trail sections
4:45 pm to 5:00 pm Feedback and review on physical activities
