Good Evening Ladies and Gentleman, it gives me great pleasure to announce Swansea University Film Society's first (and hopefully) annual Moonlit Cinema! The date and time are still to be confirmed but on Friday the 15th of May we will be screening the 2013 time travelling comedy drama 'About Time' written and directed by Richard Curtis (Love Actually, The Boat That Rocked) and starring Domnhall Gleeson (Harry Potter) and Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, The Notebook). This is again still to be confirmed but we should be showing the film on campus in Abbey Meadows with the screening starting just as the sun starts to set at about 9pm, tickets will be £3 for members of the society and £4 for non-members these will be available either on the Swansea Union page, on the door, or sold through film society committee members, any profit from this event will be donated to charity to raise funds for Nepal. Be sure to bring blankets and something to sit on for the event (but no chairs please) snacks and drinks are welcome too but the university has said we cannot have alcohol at this event. If it does unfortunately rain on the day then we shall be moving the screening into one of the lecture rooms in Fulton House instead. Hope to see you all there!
