Think corsetry and top hats, steam-powered computers and robots, H.G. Wells and Jules Verne with a modernistic twist! Dress in your best Steampunk finery and enjoy a weekend amongst the National Railway Museum’s collection of historic carriages and monstrous steam engines. Take a ride on the full size 1919 steam engine Peronne and the smaller steam locomotive Bub.
Photographic opportunities will be available throughout the site and a rare after-dark session on Saturday night will see smoke machines adding to the atmosphere.
Steampunk-inspired clothes and trinkets will be on sale at a variety of stalls.
