Volunteer drinkers are needed for a Standardized Field Sobriety Testing Class that is being co-hosted by the Buffalo Valley Regional Police and the Bucknell University Department of Public Safety. The class is going to be held at the Bucknell University on 6/2-6/4. Volunteer drinkers are needed to drink on either 6/3 or 6/4 starting at 8am until 1200pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Alcohol will be provided free of charge. This class cannot be held if we do not have enough volunteers. Please help. I also encourage this to be shared to anyone who qualifies according to the restrictions below. Please contact me for more information. I have to have applications in about a week and half from now.
Below is a list of the restrictions:
must be in good health
no history of alcohol abuse
no history of heart, lung, brain, circulation, or emotional disorders
no vertigo, meniere's disease, multiple sclerosis, poliomyelitis, or epilepsy
must not be 45 lbs. or more over weight
no pregnant females
must not be on probation or parole
must be legally entitled to drink alcohol
must be willing to consume alcoholic beverages other than wine and beer to an alcohol BAC (blood alcohol concentration) of approximately .14%
must be willing to not operate a motor vehicle or heavy machinery or devices at least ten hours after completing the course
must be willing to remain at the course until BAC is below .08%
it is preferable that the volunteers have transportation to and from the course, some reasonable exceptions can be made.
