The next Southside Safety Group Meeting is Monday, May 18, 7:00 PM at the Carondelet "Y" RecPlex, in the Respect and Responsibility Rooms.
All First District Aldermen/women and Neighborhood Improvement Specialists have been invited.
Office Keith Novara, Neighborhood Liaison Officer, will be present to give updates on crime.
Detective Ryan Lynch with the St. Louis Police Association will speak briefly about his efforts to meet with neighbors to discuss how the police and citizens can work better together.
Mr. Lewis Reed, President of the St. Louis Board of Alderman, will be available for a 10-15 minute Q and A Session.
Michael Powers, Legislative Director to Mr. Lewis Reed, will present information about Domestic Violence vs. Gun Violence.
A representative with the Victims Advocacy Center will talk about what we can do to assist victims of crime.
The Southside Safety Group has been in existence for almost two years now. We offer support, networking, continuing education and positive ways of dealing with city-living issues.
