Soul Retrieval : Mending a Fragmented Spirit
Learning the Gift of Soul Retrieval
Friday, May 15th, 7pm $20
Soul Retrieval has its roots in the native healing traditions around the world. The idea that a soul can experience trauma, and leave a human being feeling “dis-spirited” is a concept found in nearly every ancient society, with the symptoms still present in modern day time. Soul parts can wander off during and just before trauma, abuse, car accident, surgery, or severe fright. This class will be a focused healing journey to find your lost soul parts and bring them back to you. We will be returning them to you, and then you will be responsible for incorporating them back into your life. Soul retrieval is an experienced journeying class, and each student attending should already be acquainted with journeying, and traveling the spirit world with their power & spirit animals. We will be learning about the spiritual effects of soul retrieval and spirit fragmentation, cultural understandings of the human spirit, how to conduct a healing, journeying for each other, and leaving the circle fully complete versions of ourselves. To further support your complete return, I recommend setting aside the time following class, and as much of the next day as you can for gentle, introspective and sweet time for your reintegration.
A Note from the Teacher:
What I will be teaching and sharing, I was taught from my teacher (Dr. Barnaby Ruhe) several years ago, and have been encouraged to share with others. The techniques are based in traditional ritual, the work quite powerful, and this work is offered in respect to my teachers, their cultures and ancient traditions; yet I do not consider myself a “Shaman”. As a form of respect, I was taught to reserve that term for our teachers and practitioners from native cultures, using their native name. “Shamanista” is a term coined in the seminars of Dr. Barnaby Ruhe to denote a contemporary practitioner and/or follower of ancient ritual traditions who incorporates a sense of freedom and various healing modalities in a positive relationship that respects ancient traditions. Shamanista is what happens when we as individuals take the initiative to combine our art and expression with our concept of healing and transformation, in practice and our everyday lives. It is a term I have embraced in my journey, and I am delighted to share the soul medicine of traditional healers with you in a safe
