Whether your interest is in poverty, racism, human trafficking, job loss/economy, the environment, hunger, fracking, bullying, homelessness, abuse or violence, this workshop will benefit your organization's social media outreach, allowing to unite, connect, and inspire your participants, members and allies. Author and community organizer Rivera Sun will introduce the workshop with a brief history of successful non-violent actions and then teach participants how social media can be used to build sincere relationships through the medium of social media. Rivera regularly teaches workshops on strategic nonviolent actions.
