On Sunday 31st May 2015 a mass choir of over 700 singers will come together in the Oval Basin, to sing in glorious four part harmony and raise vital funds for WaterAid.
Introduced by the 'remaaarkable' Cardiffian, Frank Hennessy, this will be a spectacular outdoor concert of around 40 choirs coming together to perform a shared repertoire of songs from around the World.
Main event 3pm - mini concerts from 12pm
We envision this becoming an annual event and the basis for a “Cardiff Festival of Song”. Wales is known throughout the World as “The Land of Song” so Sing for Water Cardiff is a beautifully fitting event for Cardiff, the "Capital of Song” - and perfectly placed in Cardiff Bay with its reputation for openly accessible community events and stunning views of water!
We dearly hope you will join us on the day!
