Explore Fort DeSoto's beaches with us! Look for shells, learn about small creatures hidden in the water, sand, and wrackline, and have a chance to view nesting shorebirds and seabirds! Florida Suncoast Sierra Club joins up with St. Petersburg Audubon Society to share the wonders of our coastal environment. Audubon's Bird Stewards will have scopes available for viewing birds. When? Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 9:00 am Where? Meet at the large flagpole in front of the Ranger's offices (see link below for map of Ft. DeSoto) Who? All ages invited to attend Cost: The program is FREE!
