We cordially invite you to join us May 23-24, 2015, for our Second Germany Sacred Harp Convention. This year it will take place in Bremen, Germany, in the St. Pauli Parish Centre.
Sing with us at our regular weekly singing on the Thursday before, join us at a singing school with Matthew Parkinson on Friday evening, a Saturday evening social and take part in two full days of singing from the red 1991 Sacred Harp book (Denson). Our singers are looking forward to hosting you in their homes, also we're providing suggestions for hotels and B&Bs - you name it!
New singers are welcome to join us too. Enjoy the power and enthusiasm of Sacred Harp singing. No experience is necessary to participate.
Doors will open at 10:00 am on both Saturday and Sunday, with singing beginning at 10:30 am. We invite you to join us for dinner on the grounds at 1:00 pm, and to continue to sing with us until the afternoon. Local singers are asked to bring plenty of potluck food to share with our guests and the new singers.
