Secret Romance have created more than just a buzz in their hometown of Sheffield having been featured in some of the cities most distributed print magazines as well as countless mentions on some of biggest websites of the local area. All this In turn has let Secret Romance to gather a following and hometown gigs to be packed out! Secret Romance have played venues in Sheffield such as The Hop, DQ and more iconic and well known venues like Corporation and O2 Academy Sheffield where major artists like My Chemical Romance and Green Day have took to the stage, all bands of which have been an influence on Secret Romance as well as older bands such as The Clash and original punk rockers Sex Pistols. The band has released their first EP ‘Broken by None’ on the 13th July 2013 and their single ‘March’ on the 18th January 2014 to which a music video was shot and debuted on the 20th June 2014 already having hits on YouTube in the thousands. March - Twitter - @Secret_Romance FERAL BROOD Sheffield based 5 piece formed in 2012. Line up consisting of singer/guitarists Phil Goodwin and Dan Williamson, piano/organist Tom Goodwin, bassist Ash Romans and drummer Steve Broughton. With a self produced album already in the bag, this band is armed to the teeth, crammed into the cockpit of a supersonic jet and ready to drive home some missiles of sound. Turning songs on their head with his own inimitable style Tom comes straight from Hollywood Boulevard, with Manzerak-esque electric piano right through to nauseating, candy floss induced fairground blasts, a whirlwind of hair and showmanship ensures this Key player is unrivalled to watch and to listen to. Ash and Ste are a tight rhythm section with drums and bass that’ll give you one hell of a punch to the midriff, only to be matched by Phil and Dan’s relentless front man-ship which leaves crowds discombobulated in a hurricane of inexorable guitar and efficacious vocals. From sweat dripping down the walls and intimate crowds fighting for every breath to anthem expectant festival masses, this band takes no prisoners with their live show. From the gentle touch of harmony-laden “You Are The Sea”, to the rebellious raucous of “Machine” or the irresistible hook and catch of “Cold”, Feral Brood have a plethora of tunes strong enough to pass any old grey whistle test! HAVANA ROCKS From that early beginning they have developed their craft until today they are a musical force in terms of the genre of heavy classic rock. Havana rocks were of the mindset that they needed to produce their own music based on and around the epic rock bands of two decades ago. To that end, they almost hermit like, hid themselves away and worked consistently on self generated music for a long period of time. When they were content amongst themselves at the quality of their material they tried it out on members of the rock loving public. Following tours of London and other national venues in support of other established rock bands, Havana Rocks were confident, as a result of very positive feedback, that they had made the grade in this very exacting industry. This resulted in the band producing their definitive first album 'Star'. Sales were unprecedented and that album is now in its third edition and following a very successful European tour in 2010, Havana Rocks now headline at some of the best national venues. With an ever increasing fan base, Havana Rocks pack out venues which invariably results in re-bookings and requests to perform at others. One thing for certain, their show is reminiscent of the quality stadium rock bands of the past resulting in invitations to participate at acclaimed rock festivals. Havana rocks are currently working on their next album and are confident that their success is secured. THIS CITY LIMITS This City Limits is a modern punk band from Leeds. We draw influence from American bands such as Rise Against, Polar Bear Club and Against Me!, and from British groups such as We Are The Ocean and Mallory Knox. The band consists of lead vocalist Will Turner, lead guitarist George Turner, drummer Josh Peters, and bassist Rob Burns. Having played separately for a number of years, brothers Will and George came together in 2013 to form This City Limits. The line-up was completed shortly after with the addition of Rob and Josh. Following the encouraging reception of their debut E.P. Brittle Brass & Broken Bone (Oct 2013), we began working on some follow-up material. The first of two singles, ‘Amputate’, was released in April 2014 along with an accompanying video. The track was well received by critics, and garnered attention from national press and radio. The second single, ‘Colourblind’, was released in July, and once again we received positive reviews from national critics. We were booked into the studio in January 2015 to work on a second E.P. See you at a show soon! The band will be recording a second E.P. in December. KILLER JOULES Killer Joules is three-piece perfection. A band that combines blues, funk and alternative rock to great effect. Formed many moons ago, now, after much writing, recording and experimenting, complete, focused and ready to rock!!/KillerJoulesBand
