This event will feature yoga classes, Kirtan performance by Wynne Paris and educational presentations on the current state of Elephant Conservation. Guest musicians include Mantra Grooves singer Karen Thomas-gonzalezAn opening set of Kirtan will feature Anya Guti and friends.
about the artist: Wynne paris is a kirtan musician and musician who plays Yoga music and Kirtan events in support of Wild Life conservation. He plays guitar, harmonium and percussion and weaves elements of funky rock and jazz, even gospel, into his Kirtans. Ananda, or bliss, is the goal, and the path and music ... is the guide.
The beneficiary organizations that will recieve funding and support will be Africa ASAP and ElephantVoices, two groups that are doing amazing work in the field.
Elephant Voices works in Kenya and is focused on Elephant communication, research and conseravtion.
Africa Asap uses Dirigibles ( blimps ) as part of a strategy to help save elephants in Tanzania ( where more than %30 of African elephants still live, and where they are most threatened by poaching.
