We are holding another Family Concert to support the Sarah Lilli Fund. It’s being held on Sunday 7th June from 4.00 pm to 6.00pm at Queen Margaret College, 53 Hobson Street, Thorndon, Wellington. There will be an intermission with refreshments and raffles available.
Our friend Donald Armstrong from the NZSO has organised a fantastic line-up of musicians, dancers, singers and other performers. His son Ollie and Sarah were best friends all through junior school.
As well as string and wind players from the NZ Symphony Orchestra, the concert features the RNZAF Band, opera, Pasifika ensemble, Extreme Dance + lots of other young musicians, dancers and singers.
Ray Henwood is going to be the MC for the show.
We do hope that you can come and/or encourage family and friends along. You can book tickets by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning Barnardos on 0800 005 437.
Ticket prices are: $12 Child/Student; $28 Adult; $65 Family (2 adults and any number of children).
The Sarah Lilli Fund was set up with Barnardos in memory of our middle daughter Sarah who died suddenly when she was just ten years old. The Fund has helped over a 1,000 children to pursue sporting and creative interests or enjoy holidays, not otherwise available to them.
