Riot in the Pasture is Bread Riot's festive annual farm-to-table dinner. We hope you'll join us this year!
This year has a lot going on.
We're featuring a "duel" between two farms and two pitmasters: whole hog barbecue by Seth Morris and Aaron Goss. Pigs from Wild Turkey Farms and Two Pigs Farm. Come learn how two different breeds and preparations taste and vote for your favorite!
Bread Basket buns by Emma made with Lindley Mills' NC bread flour (multi-grain and gluten-free bread also available).
To keep things fair for the vegetarians, Salty Caper Salisbury,NC will be making all vegetarian pizzas with local flour, cheese and toppings. (Tomatoes TBD)

Barbee Farms mixed greens salad with blackberry/chambourcin wine vinaigrette
MikNik Farm glazed hushpuppies with local honey butter
Correll Farms collard green slaw

Homeland Creamery vanilla ice cream with local strawberries and Bread Basket granola
Morgan Ridge Vineyards-Brewhouse has some of North Carolina's best wine. And will be making two special beers with Rowan County barley!
New Sarum Brewing Company has generously donated a three limited release beers crafted special for this event. (And you might not know that they already make many beers that already feature Rowan County barley malted at Riverbend Malt House!) Their specials will also feature local hops and barley from the family of board president Amy Hoffner Poirier.
Fullsteam Brewery has also generously donated beer.
Kids activities including hula hoops, bubbles, arts and crafts.
Bringing a lawn chair is recommended. Outside beverages are not allowed.
Kids 3 and under are free.
Kid tickets (ages 3-12): $15
Adult tickets: $30 advance, $38 at the door (but keep in mind we may sell out!)
