Welcome back everyone! Hopefully revision isn’t stopping you drinking, but if it is don’t worry, we’ve got a fantastic post-exam event in store for you.
On Saturday 23rd May, we’ll be heading up to Bristol for an epic pub crawl, visiting some of Bristol best craft beer venues. This is not one to missed, and, as our last trip out, should be a fantastic way to round off the year!
The plan is to catch the train late morning to Bristol Temple Meads, from where we’ll take the short walk to Moor Beer Co’s shiny new Tap Room. From there, we’ll head back towards the city, stopping at BrewDog before visiting the incredible Beer Emporium and Small Bar – which together have over 70 beers on tap! We’ll then stroll westwards to microbrewery The Three Tuns, one of Bristol’s oldest pubs, before finishing at Bristol Beer Factory’s stunning Grain Barge opposite the Marina. More details of the exact route can be found below.
Please make sure you buy an open return from Exeter St David’s to Bristol Temple Meads. We’re planning on getting the 10:50 up there, but want to be as flexible as possible in terms of coming back, so an open return ticket is the best option. If you want to catch the train from Exeter Central instead, it leaves 11 minutes earlier (at 10:39) and is the same price, and you will just have to change onto the Bristol train at Exeter St David’s.
