Re-imagining Maplewood Mall is an outdoor community driven "place making" project that aims to bring much needed love, attention and energy to the long neglected shopping corridor of Maplewood Mall in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA. The theme of this year’s Re-imagining Maplewood Mall is "Germantown Renaissance” and the event is scheduled for Saturday May 30, 2015 (rain date June 6th). This festival is an opportunity to re-imagine Germantown, and Maplewood Mall, as an epicenter for creativity, music, food, literature, poetry and art. We want to, not only showcase the brilliance of our own community, but demonstrate to Philadelphia that Germantown is a gathering place for the cutting edge in culture. We will have a special performance by the amazing Kulu Mele African Dance and Drum Ensemble. Musical talent will include: Jim Dragoni Bethlehem and Sad Patrick DreamWolf via awQward Talent Rhenda Fearrington Yolanda Wisher & The Quick Fixx Do you want to contribute to our event as a vendor, busker or volunteer?
