A new metal festival for Aberdeen.

UK-based, Xerath are headlining the main stage. Bringing their brand of 'Orchestral Groove Metal'. May appeal to fans of Meshuggah, Gojira, Strapping Young Lad, Devin Townsend and others.
WINTER IN EDEN
Female-fronted symphonic metal from Durham. Their third album was produced by Ruud Jolie (guitar player of Within Temptation). If you like bands such as Evanescence, Nightwish and After Forever, you'll probably love Winter in Eden.
Pirate/folk metal from Nottingham. Red Rum are making a return to Aberdeen after supporting Alestorm last year in the same venue. They even have a cover of 'They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard'.
Aberdeen-based tech/groove metal band Kamehameha have bags of talent within their ranks and will be bringing you some complex music that is even heavier than granite.
WHITE WASTED VIRGIN
Opening the main stage are Aberdeen-based White Wasted Virgin. They have a psychedelic-infused metal sound they describe as 'Stoner Chunky Groove'.
Headlining the second stage will be classic-metal revival band, Toledo Steel from Southampton. For fans of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
Slam/Death/Grind Metal from Fife. They're brightly coloured logo contrasts with their brutal style of music. They are increasingly gaining recognition for playing the heaviest style of music with great success while not taking themselves too seriously.
If Party Cannon aren't going to provide enough of teh br00talz to feed your addiction and you want more ultra-heavy music with blast beats. Experience Boak - you wont be disappointed.
ASYLUM FOUR STAR
If blast beats and guttural vocals aren't your thing, Asylum Four Star might bee the answer. Asylum Four Star create melodic metal with an 80's twist. Expect powerful lead vocals, a healthy dose of shredding and a strong rhythmic backing.
AU ROCKSOC BAND
Aberdeen Uni Rock and Metal Society organised RAM It Down festival and this band features members of the student society. They will be opening the second stage with rock and metal covers.
Doors 4:30pm (first band 5pm).
14+ (under 16's with adult).
