SKEPTICAL OF THIS LANGUAGE? COME TO THE PUBLIC HEARING! WOAY reported: "FAYETTEVILLE- One county commission discusses plans to amend a development code. The Fayette County Commission and planning commission talk about an injection well amendment. The Unified Development Code would add a section that would require residents applying for an injection well to do so with the county before going to the state. This amendment comes shortly after the Lochgelly Injection Well permit is due for renewal. "We want the public to be aware of what an application might be," says Fayette Co. Zoning Officer Tim Richardson. "We're offering a fair application process to the applicant, but we're also offering the opportunity for the public to inject their concerns in regard to an application." The second public hearing for the Planning Commission of Fayette County's Unified Development Code will be May 18th at 2 p.m." WE NEED TO NOW MORE THAN EVER STAND UP FOR A RIGHT TO A HEALTHY FUTURE FOR FAYETTE COUNTY! Come to the public Hearing May 18th at 2:00 pm to let the county commission know that Fayette County is done with permits for storage and injection of industrial waste.
